We opted for the 8-day E-bike holiday.

We came into contact with this E-bike concept through someone else. We opted for the 8-day E-bike holiday. And what a wonderful way to explore Piedmont. Of course we’re not going to reveal too much because that would be a shame. It starts with a flexible Aad and Esther who take care of the luggage in the background, do an interim check of the bicycles and propose to change the program in bad weather. You also sleep in different places and each accommodation has its own charm. For one it is the peace and the view and for the other the location, which puts you in the center of Alba or Acqui Terme, for example. A delicious breakfast every morning and saddle up the bikes for the next trip. Every tour is different with some recommendations from the organizer here and there so you can stop at nice places. Of course we have ended up somewhere else, but that is just fine. Of course, a wine tasting was also included during these days, very nice to be able to take a look at the cellar in such a family business and taste some special wines. Looking back, we have seen, smelled and tasted a lot of this Italian Piedmont and we are left wanting more. What we noticed is that there is little mass tourism in this region, we have not seen any souvenir shops. We enjoyed the peace, the weather and the surroundings, we will definitely do this again! I personally wore cycling shorts with a chamois, but that is personal, not everyone needs that. Ponchos are in the bicycle bag. You can easily store your handbag, bottle of water and some sunscreen in that bicycle bag. The bikes are mileage eaters that allow you to climb any steep slope with ease.
